This Wiki and its contents are going to be migrated sooner than later. <i>Please keep contributing content nontheless.</i> Depending on the choice of a new wiki software and whether a (semi-)automatic migration is possible, the new wiki will be hosted under hacc.wiki, while this wiki will remain under hacc.uber.space until migration is complete.
This Wiki was supposed to be migrated and moved, but due to a lack of effort (for various reasons), I, Peter did not make this happen.
Because of this, the Wiki was down for a while earlier this year and has been and can be regarded as deprecated.

Hosting: A move onto Infra4future.de's server infrastructure is likely, but other options may be considered.

Mediawiki is great, but.. other software may be better and more versatile. We might stay on MediaWiki, but at this point, alternatives should be considered in order to move just once.

Under active consideration are:

* DokuWiki

* XWiki

* MDwiki (no longer in active development)
I commit to keeping this site runnning until at least three months after the next in-person CCC Congress or Camp best I can, which would be March 2023.
* <i>please feel free to add more options here!</i>
To ensure this, even if the PHP daemon dies again (which it well might), I am considering offering a static, read only version of this site.

Alternatives to make sure that no content get's lost would be to convert the contents of the Wiki (as is) to ZIM, as decribed here

Future?

General

This Wiki was supposed to be migrated and moved, but due to a lack of effort (for various reasons), I, Peter did not make this happen. Because of this, the Wiki was down for a while earlier this year and has been and can be regarded as deprecated.

So what to with this?

New solutions and old solutions for the problem this Wiki aimed to solve are both "pad" (web-based collaborative real-time editor) based, see

I commit to keeping this site runnning until at least three months after the next in-person CCC Congress or Camp best I can, which would be March 2023. To ensure this, even if the PHP daemon dies again (which it well might), I am considering offering a static, read only version of this site.

Alternatives to make sure that no content get's lost would be to convert the contents of the Wiki (as is) to ZIM, as decribed here
